SCHOLARSHIP


Over 3 million children in the country of South Africa are orphans due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. In the pictures above you can see these ures of orphans receiving their school uniforms and shoes. You brought a smile to their faces. They are precious in the eyes of God, and you proved they are precious in your eyes as well by providing school uniforms for them.

 

ORPHANAGE

Kingdom Covenant Church in Toronto, Canada will begin construction of a $210,000 orphanage in Nongoma, Zululand by January 2008 with a completion date of August 2008.

Now orphans will have a place they can call home. This will protect them from the risk of being sexually and physically abused. We are bringing hope to a hopeless society.

FARMING FOR ORPHANS

Another praise report is that Global Assistance Organization, together with Children’s Foundation in the United States, has donated $29,000 to purchase farming equipment. The purpose is to farm 2,000 acres of land provided by His Majesty King Zwelithini, King of the Zulus, so the orphans will have food.

  • $30 will provide each widow with a blanket, a pair of sheets, and a pillow.
